Over the past six months, BDS has seen good growth in the network (currently over 55 AR firms on board), plus a significant increase in new business from their satellite partners and direct arm – factors which have led to a recruitment drive in key areas of their business. These new staff members bring a range of experience gained mostly in lender environments and so are familiar with the mortgage process.
Laura Betts joins BDS as a mandated underwriter from Stroud & Swindon, Julia Duffas was previously in mortgage administration with Nationwide, Tricia Griffin joins processing from C & G and, finally, Hannah Bilton returns to the BDS sub-prime team.
Commenting on the appointment, Phil Jay, managing director for BDS Mortgage Group, said: "I am delighted to welcome all of the new staff on board. As our network continues to go from strength to strength and Enrico brings new satellite packagers on board, the last thing we want is to fall over at the first hurdle. We know that service is paramount and these appointments illustrate our commitment to ensuring that brokers who use BDS come back time and again."
