Jones, who has worked in mortgages and finance for 30 years, spent the last 10 running her own mortgage firm which predominantly focused on the residential sector.
She said: “I was really keen for a change in direction and now is a perfect time to be working with bridging.
“I’ve worked with BFS in the past and referred them to my own clients so already knew they are a highly credible and professional firm.
“Bridging has changed significantly in recent years and is no longer a last choice finance option but a credible main stream solution.
“Many people are already switched on to this type of finance yet many aren’t aware and are often surprised to learn of the ways in which bridging can be used – raising awareness of this is a key objective in my new role.”
She will work with client’s looking for commercial or residential finance, as well as professional firms such as solicitors and accountants.
