Paymentshield will offer BIA members access to its buildings and contents insurance as well as mortgage payment protection insurance.
Martin Banbury, Executive Chairman of BIA said, "We are continually reviewing the services and products our members are able to offer their clients. Clearly it is essential the products are regulated but they must also offer good value, quality and be responding to the demands of our members' clients. As the leader in its field, Paymentshield is able to fulfil all these criteria."
Gareth Riding, Marketing Director at Paymentshield commented, "We have been working closely with Berkeley Independent Advisers over the past few months to ensure that its members can continue to benefit from access to Paymentshield's range of award winning general insurance products. We are delighted that BIA has recognised the value that Paymentshield will bring to their network solution."
BIA members who have not received FSA authorisation for General Insurance by January 2005 will not be able to sell Paymentshield products.
BIA members can already benefit from the existing relationship with Berry Birch & Noble Insurance Brokers which provides a full insurance product line.
