BIBA has said it will be watching carefully over the next few days to see which Government is formed and details of the policies and individual appointments relevant to members and the wider industry.
Eric Galbraith, BIBA chief executive said: "Big challenges and opportunities to the political landscape are happening and BIBA will be working hard to establish relations with those who become important stakeholders to insurance brokers and BIBA's manifesto issues. We began the ground work for this a long time ago by meeting shadow government teams and prospective parliamentary candidates to ensure that going forward we are in a strong position to represent members' interests."
