Firms say they could 'revolutionise' house moves
The bills management company Billing Better has acquired Homebox, a utilities comparison and switching service.
The two companies believe their link-up could revolutionise the home moving experience.
They have been working closely together over recent years, and say the acquisition brings together the strengths of both brands.
Announcing the acquisition, they suggest that joining forces they could provide ‘a powerful and comprehensive solution for customers, while also allowing for further growth in the industry’.
In a statement, Jack Ray (pictured), founder of Billing Better, said: “We’re thrilled to complete this acquisition and expand our offering to home movers. Homebox’s free comparison tool is a great complement to our bills bundle product, providing home movers with the right balance of choice and convenience when setting up their home.”
The acquisition of Homebox will see founder Hedley Smith assume the role of chief technology officer for the newly formed group. The Homebox brand will be relaunched as a fresh offering in the market, and its current white-labelled utilities comparison service will be integrated into Billing Better’s new bills management platform.
“After working together for some time, it became clear that we have a shared vision and a strong opportunity to simplify and de-stress people’s lives,” Smith commented.
Billing Better has reported 100% growth in customer numbers over the past year. The company continues to expand its offerings, it says, ensuring its clients have access to a comprehensive and convenient solution for the management of their bills and utilities.
Billing Better aims to provide an efficient and user-friendly platform for businesses to manage their invoicing and payments. Its mission is to simplify the billing process and help businesses focus on what they do best. The platform offers features such as automated invoicing.
Homebox is a platform designed to connect people with household services through switching and management across energy, broadband & more.
