Available on its online system EQUiP, the case-tracking facility enables advisers to access the system 24 hours a day.
Developed in conjunction with Dickinson Dees and Hammonds, it is hoped the system will drastically improve the speed of the application process. As part of the EQUiP system, Bridgewater Equity Release confirmed that brokers would be able to complete and manage application forms online and produce Key Fact Illustrations for borrowers.
Peter Couch, managing director at Bridgewater Equity Release, said: “This new case-tracking facility provides an invaluable tool for advisers allowing them to check on the status of their client’s case at any time once a client offer has been accepted. We hope advisers agree that this is a more effective use of their time.”
Kevin Stelfox, managing director at Equity Release Solutions, admitted that the case-tracking facility would help the market.
He explained: “The system allows immediate access to specific information regarding a certain case, making sure that advisers and administrators know exactly what is happening in the process. Being web-based it also provides access to information from anywhere and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”
