The event, taking place three days after the introduction of the MMR, will help advisers understand their new responsibilities.
Simon Tranter, Grainger risk and compliance officer, will be looking at the MMR rules, its impact on equity release and focus on the suitability of advice from a provider’s point of view.
Other presentations include Jeremy Davies, joint managing director of Symponia, who will look at the long-term care marketplace and how equity release can play a part in funding client’s needs in this area.
Chris Prior of Bridgewater meanwhile will look at a variety of adviser issues including how to generate and convert more leads and how best to put in place a strong introducer network.
