It is the first time that any business from any industry has topped the list for two years running.
The Brightstar Group has been named as the Best Small Company to work for in the UK by the Sunday Times for a second consecutive year, also securing the highest ever score in the history of the competition.
Congratulations have been pouring in on Twitter since Brightstar's group chief executive Rob Jupp announced the news.
Headquartered in Billericay, Essex, The Brightstar Group which also incorporates Sirius Property Finance, secured a best companies score of 874.2 for people engagement this year, compared to the 844 it achieved last year when it won both the Best Small Company to work for in the UK and the Best Overall Company to work for in the East of England.
The Brightstar Group also received a Three Star Best Companies accreditation which is awarded to companies that have demonstrated extraordinary levels of workplace engagement.

This year, the Best Companies survey received 757 applications and surveyed nearly 400,000 employees.
