Rates on each tier of the Society's fixed-rate range are being cut, but the highlights of the new range will be Britannia's five and ten-year fixed rate products with rates ranging from just 4.69%.
Tim Franklin, managing director of Member Business, said: "Although interest rates are low right now, with so much uncertainty about what will happen in the future, there is no guarantee they will stay low in the long term.
"With this in mind, opting for a long-term fixed-rate now means borrowers will have the reassurance that their monthly payments will be protected at a more affordable level, regardless of what happens to interest rates for up to ten years."
Britannia's range continues to offer products and rates based on the size of the borrowers' deposit. The new range includes packages with and without upfront arrangement fees. The no arrangement fee option also offers a free valuation for all borrowers and free conveyancing for remortgage customers:
