Johnston is tasked with increasing the solicitor panel’s adviser base up and down the country and upping its instruction levels from existing users.
Harpal Singh, managing director of Broker Conveyancing, said: “As the business has expanded and our proposition has become ever more compelling for advisers, we have needed to increase resources within the business to manage our existing users and to develop new relationships.
“Steve comes with a strong background in sales and is responsible for developing our sales team, and increasing the level of adviser activity right across the piece.
“He has already hit the ground running and we are confident his energy and drive will help expand Broker Conveyancing over the months and years ahead.”
Johnston has a background in estate agency sales management, having worked at iSiS Residential Homes, now called Oasis, and Hastings Estage Agents.
Members of the internal sales team will report to Johnston, who will himself answer to Singh.
Broker Conveyancing will exhibit at the MBE Leeds on Stand 40 on the 22 April.
