Business Lending Group has appointed Fintan O’Riordan as a business development manager.

Prior to this he spent time at Paragon Banking Group and Barclays Bank.
Peter Wade, chairman at Business Lending Group, said: “Clearly O’Riordan is a very experienced development finance specialist; he brings a wealth of knowledge to BLG having established and successfully run development finance teams for a number of banks over the years.
“O’Riordan is very well connected and well liked within the industry, I am extremely delighted he is joining the BLG team and looking forward to working with him.”
O’Riordan, added: “Having met senior management and, more recently, the rest of the team, I was impressed by their expert approach to development funding which has been honed over the last 10 years.
“What BLG does makes sense to me. It’s about structuring the deal so that it equally benefits the borrower and the lender.
“That balance is where the magic happens, and long-term relationships are formed.
In my role as business development director, I have an important part to play in enabling BLG to support more customers and grow the business.”
