Lender says promotions reflect its commitment to better serve clients
Prime mortgage lender Butterfield Mortgages has promoted Wendy Scott (pictured right) to senior business development manager and Radhika Madar (pictured left) to senior relationship manager.
Scott has over 20 years of experience in the mortgage industry and has been with Butterfield since 2016. Her previous roles include positions as an underwriter and mortgage and protection advisor at Nationwide Building Society, Lloyds Banking Group, and Metro Bank.
In her new role, Scott will focus on providing specialist assistance to high-net-worth clients and expanding the UK loan book through the intermediary network.
Madar brings more than 18 years of industry experience, including over a decade of advising high-net-worth private clients on UK real estate investments.
In her new role, she will oversee mortgage loan renewals, credit reviews, loan book operations, and direct business referrals, including internal referrals from Butterfield’s banking, investment, and trust operations.
The lender said these promotions underscore its dedication to nurturing internal talent and are part of its ongoing commitment to better serve high-net-worth clients seeking residential mortgages against prime properties in London. Last month, Butterfield Mortgages also appointed Ashley Titley as relationship manager.
“Both Wendy and Radhika have extensive experience within the UK mortgage industry and have proven their abilities in providing tailored solutions and financing requirements to meet the needs of our individual clients,” said Alpa Bhakta, chief executive of Butterfield Mortgages.
“I have every confidence they will continue to play a key role in further developing our relationships with clients and intermediaries alike.”
