The guest speaker will be Paul Smee, director general of fellow trade body the Council of Mortgage Lenders.
Eddie Goldsmith, chairman of the Conveyancing Association, said: “The relationship between lenders and conveyancers is a tremendously important one and facilitating communication between the two parties will have a significant and very positive effect on not only our own but our client’s experience of buying or selling a home.
“We are very much looking forward to welcoming Paul to our all-members meeting and to hearing his views on the existing relationship between conveyancers and lenders and how this can be improved.
“We look forward to continuing this dialogue with both the CML and lenders as part of the CA’s engagement programme.”
Earlier in the year a CA survey found that conveyancers commonly find open, two way discussions with lenders ‘problematic’.
