CAL will now provide Connect’s members with its range of conveyancing services including access to its fully integrated online trading platform offering a panel of 15 national solicitor firms to choose from. Each solicitor firm has been appointed to the panel based on service levels and their ability to deal with high volumes of business.
The exclusive tie-up between CAL and Connect provides its members with full control over the conveyancing process allowing firms to: quote and instruct at point of sale, input details simply and quickly, track progress through real-time case tracking and select their own referral fee. Payment is also quick – BACS payments are made weekly based on the firm’s previous week’s completions.
Connect Mortgage Group operates a unique Area scheme dividing the country into 330 exclusive areas. Connect only appoint, and work with, one directly authorised firm per area providing full support including a business development and lead generation programme to increase the member’s mortgage completions.
As well as conveyancing, Connect provides a range of other outsourced services to its Area members including: mortgage processing, second-charge loans, general insurance, supplying new clients, compliance, marketing, wills and testaments, and a referral programme.
