Ward is currently chief executive of Home Funding Limited and partner at Bank Solutions Group, while he has previously been chief executive at Britannic Money PLC, Mortgage Trust, and group treasurer at Mortgage Funding Corporation PLC and Kleinwort Benson.
His appointment takes the number of board members to five.

Capita Mortgage Services - formerly Crown Mortgage Management - was acquired by Capita Asset Services in May this year.
