Bates joins from Reilly Bates Corporate Marketing and Communications where he was a director. His previous roles include head of marketing at GLG Partners UK, head of marketing at Société Générale Asset Management and head of broker desk at Prolific Financial Management.
Bates will oversee all areas of marketing communications for the business across all channels and will report to Sean Oldfield, chief executive officer at Castle Trust.
Oldfield said: “Mikkel’s experience will be invaluable in getting the message out to the market that what we are doing is simple yet impactful. We are improving the efficiency of the housing market by enabling homeowners and investors to transfer the funding and returns of home ownership between each other.”
