CDS is looking to build its product data team, add to its group of developers and recruit two new business development managers to support expansion into the intermediary sector.
Ian Merriman, CDS sales director, said: “Since launching The Core sourcing engine last year we have steadily grown the team to ensure that every aspect of our product and service proposition exceed the expectations of our intermediary clients.
"Many firms have cut back on front line and support staff over recent years but we believe that now is the time to invest in the right people so that the company is geared up to fulfil the needs of clients going forward.
“Accurate data will remain a crucial element of any sourcing system and so as product numbers look to increase, the expansion of our product data team is not only timely, but demonstrates our commitment to the accuracy of our product.
"Likewise, our system introduces a raft of improvements to a traditional sourcing process and requires the best and brightest to deliver the very latest technology.
“We firmly believe that the intermediary sector will continue to grow and we welcome the intense pressure that will be on the tools and systems that are used to support the support process.”
