Time is running out for CeFA holders to take the Institute of Financial Services ‘Bridge’ route to the CeMAP qualification. With the new FSA regulation soon to come into practise, the ifs is accepting its last registrations for the fast-track route now.
The Bridge qualification enables qualified financial advisers the chance to achieve CeMAP qualification by taking just one module. However, due to changes in the FSA regulation, the syllabus is about to be restructured and the ifs will no longer be able to offer this CeMAP option.
For those who hold CeFA (or equivalent: FPC/CIP/IAC) and wish to take the Bridge paper, they have until 30 September 2004 to register for the paper. For those midway through their qualification, there is still the option to take the Bridge paper, provided that they register their intent to study by the end of September and complete the qualification by the end of June 2005.
