The technology link, which involves Mortgage 2000’s sourcing software “Encore” and CETA’s Life system, enables brokers to enter client data into the Mortgage 2000 “Encore” system and obtain a life quote at the same time they search for a mortgage product. This saves time and will help increase term assurance sales.
The CETA Life system, which is available free of charge, gives brokers access to products from leading insurers such as L&G, Scottish Provident and Norwich Union. Quotations are provided by CETA’s disk based comparative quotation system immediately and applications can be submitted electronically via the system. The new CETA Life facility compliments existing household insurance and MPPI technology links which already exist between Mortgage 2000 and CETA.
CETA Life Director, Adrian Waters, said: “This link is a logical enhancement which enables brokers to key in one set of client data and provide clients with quotations for multiple product types. This not only saves time but should also help increase the sale of term assurance – important cover for anyone taking out a repayment mortgage.”
Steve Butler, National Sales Manager for Mortgage 2000 said: “This is a sensible collaboration between two companies which are using technology to deliver real benefits to brokers and their clients. I have no doubt the links to CETA Life system will prove popular with brokers.”
CETA will be demonstrating this facility at a number of Mortgage 2000 Training Workshops throughout the year. Brokers who would like to attend can do so by registering with Mortgage 2000.
