Hall, a chartered surveyor, started his career with CIN Properties and following roles with Abbey Life Assurance and N M Rothschild Asset Management became a partner in Mason Philips Chartered Surveyors. In the 1990's Patrick was director of Great Portland Estates, being appointed joint managing director in 2000. He has since retired from this position and now works as a consultant on commercial property investment matters.
In addition to his new role on the board of Chelsea Building Society, Hall holds a number of non-executive positions, including Hanover Property Unit Trust, Premier Property Group Limited and Retail Plus Property Trust.

I am looking forward to working with the board to continue building on Chelsea's success."

Patrick, 57 lives in Malmesbury, Wiltshire with his wife and two daughters. In his spare time he enjoys cricket, tennis and shooting.
