The competition, which ran from March through to September, gave advisers the chance to win a £10,000 holiday of a lifetime in a private apartment in Barbados.
To enter they simply had to submit a referral through Uinsure’s commercial and non-standard insurance referral service.
The service allows advisers to generate addition revenue from commercial and non-standard clients by introducing them to Uinsure.
Advisers simply complete a quick and easy online referral form and Uinsure’s specialist non-standard and commercial referral teams handle all aspects of the quotation and sales process, alongside any compliance obligations. The introducing adviser is kept completely up to date with the progress of the referral and receives up to 15% commission upon submission of a policy.
Jason Berry, head of key accounts at Uinsure, said: “We know non-standard and commercial cases can be complicated but we think advisers should still be able to benefit from them.
"By referring the clients to us the adviser is able to offer a more comprehensive service as well as earning a commission.
“Christian did just that and we’re delighted to be able to give him this amazing prize.”
Doug Kelley, managing director of Bluedrop Services, which powers Uinsure’s referral service, added: “Allowing advisers to boost their income through referring cases that are perhaps more complex than they are used to dealing with is a fantastic feature from Uinsure and we’re very happy to be able to help them offer it.
“Huge congratulations to Christian from all of us at Bluedrop – I’m sure it really will be the holiday of a lifetime!”
