Prettejohn, chief executive of Prudential Assurance, UK & Europe, joins its Faculty of Life and Pensions arm.
Launched in March, the Faculty aims to help companies drive up standards of professionalism and good practice and so benefit from enhanced consumer confidence.
An advisory board of senior industry leaders – chaired by CII president Peter Hales – is helping to shape the strategy of the Faculty and ensure that the CII’s qualifications, competency and learning solutions are tailored to the needs of the life and pensions industry.
Peter Hales said: “I am delighted to welcome Nick to our board. Prudential are a leading life and pensions provider in the UK and getting its support is a tremendous boost. Combined with the other top level involvement I expect us to get the Faculty firmly established and making a real impact sooner rather than later.”
