Close Brothers Asset Finance has appointed machine broker specialist Neil Ainge as regional manager of the finance for industry team, part of its manufacturing division.
Ainge's appointment is part of the firm's continued strategy of strengthening its sales team; he has 30 years' experience and has spent the last 12 within an asset finance and insurance brokerage, where he specialised in the sale of machine tools to the engineering sector.
Ainge said: “My in-depth knowledge of both asset finance and machine tools will serve me well as I start the next chapter of my career.
"I’m really looking forward to working closely with our customers, offering them a guided approach to ensure they purchase an asset that is a sound investment and works for their business.”
Chris Lillico, sales director of Close Brothers Asset Finance’s manufacturing division, added: “Neil is an exciting and timely addition to the team because he’s a proven expert who can hit the ground running.
"He brings with him a wealth of experience and we will be looking to capitalise on both his finance and extensive industry knowledge and contacts.
"Neil will be operating under the finance for industry banner, noting his strong broker background.
“Bringing Neil on board is a continued demonstration of our longstanding commitment to supporting the manufacturing [small to medium enterprise] community.”
