Who are the newly promoted directors?
Notably, Merrett, May, and Sheppard, all began working at CLS without any prior experience in the mortgage industry.
Merrett took up the role of branch manager at Barclays and store manager at Metro Bank before becoming mortgage & protection adviser at CLS Money in 2016.
May was account manager at The Brandspace Group and commercial sales manager at Space to Trade before joining CLS Money as senior mortgage and protection advisor in 2017.
Meanwhile, Sheppard joined CLS Money as client relationship manager in 2016 before eventually becoming its client relationship team manager in 2017.
The firm stated that the three individuals’ promotions were a testament to its commitment to creating opportunities for growth and progression as well as signifying a vote of confidence in the existing team which showed the company’s belief in their employees’ potential.
Their promotions were part of CLS Money’s expansion plans slated for the next five years.
