Claire Budden joins CMLS from a leading mortgage packager to head up its mortgage underwriting team, reporting to director Tony Salentino. Claire has three years experience in mortgage packaging and prior to that she worked in the high street banking sector.
Claire replaces Amanda Hillyear who has taken up the newly created post of mobile underwriter, also reporting to Tony Salentino. Amanda is field-based within the Complete Network’s AR offices, covering all prime and sub-prime lending. She is on hand to answer any criteria questions regarding CMLS’s range of products from its packaged lender panel of 18 lenders. Amanda joined CMLS a year ago from TML Financial Solutions and prior to that she worked for the Yorkshire and Nationwide Building Societies.
Tony Salentino said: “Due to increasing levels of business with our top brokers CMLS created the mobile underwriter role to enable these brokers to receive first class in house service. This will benefit both CMLS and the brokers to gain quicker turnaround times, enable speedy completions and maintain the highest quality service standards. Amanda’s expertise in the product and lender range will be invaluable to our ARs, and we are delighted to welcome Claire into the mortgage team leader role. We are confident that Claire and Amanda will be successful in their new roles and will contribute significantly to our continued expansion.”
