The lender was awarded specialist lender of the year and most successful new entrant to the market.
“These awards are a great testament to the hard work of our team and we are thrilled that our innovation in the marketplace has been recognised,” said Stephen Johnson, sales and marketing director at Commercial First. “We have had a great first year and look forward to building on this in 2004.”
The awards ceremony was held on Tuesday 18th November at London’s Natural History Museum after the Mortgage Finance Expo at Earls Court and was hosted by Quentin Wilson from the popular TV series ‘Top Gear’. The ceremony featured a charity auction in aid of Ataxia UK, a charity that helps people suffering from neurological disorders.
The awards from the NACFB follow a commendation awarded last month at the Mortgage Finance Gazette awards in the innovator of the year category.
Commercial First will be celebrating its first birthday at the beginning of December and is marking this milestone with a series of roadshows across the UK beginning in Manchester on December 1st.
The roadshows will feature presentations by leading industry figures and invaluable information for intermediaries about the commercial lending sector.
