The enhancements include the addition of online application forms that can be downloaded and allowed for enquiries to be placed, with a guaranteed response within two hours.
As part of the changes, the website has been divided into separate sections covering commercial mortgages, bridging finance and development finance, with an area specifically created for brokers.
Peter Turner, head of sales at Commercial 1, commented: “We have spent time making sure that our new website was developed very much with our key audiences in mind. It has given us a great opportunity to update the content, look and feel of the site to make it as user-friendly and informative as possible both for existing clients and new prospects.
“It is an exciting time for the business and we are looking forward to client feedback on both our new home and our new-look website.”
John Ford, director at Mustard Commercial Finance, suggested that the enhancements to the firm’s intermediary website could help the firm do more business, but that the organisation still needed to make further changes.
He explained: “Commercial 1 works with a limited panel of mortgage lenders. There are a few around who will do bridging and the like and it is high fee paying.”
