There were 4,121 company insolvencies in total in England and Wales, an increase of 3.7% on the previous quarter and an increase of 2.1% when compared to the same period a year before.
Over the past three months there were 30,162 individual insolvencies in England and Wales which was a decrease of 15.5% on the same period a year ago and a 2% decrease since the previous quarter.
