The rebrand will include Connect’s buy-to-let and commercial network which has 88 appointed representative firms.
Connect will revamp its website for the New Year to make it more mobile friendly, as 60% of people are already accessing its current website on a mobile or tablet.
Liz Syms, its managing director, said: “When we set out to use the word ‘club’ we were thinking about creating a club for brokers, but we found people were associating us with a payment route club like Legal & General.
“The name ‘Connect Mortgage Club’ wasn’t telling people that we’re a specialist network offering a range of broker services.
“We are one of the only networks that specialise in the buy-to-let and bridging space – by calling ourselves a club that didn’t really come across.”
She added: “We have forged some great relationships as Connect Mortgage Club and look forward to reaching out and building many more as Connect for Intermediaries.”
