The volume of new private housing work in the second quarter of 2011 was 4.4% higher compared with the previous quarter and 0.7% higher compared with the same quarter in 2010.
The volume of housing repair and maintenance work including improvement work in the public sector in the second quarter was 1.6% higher compared with the previous quarter and similar to the same period in 2010.
Housing repair and maintenance work in the private sector in the second quarter was 1.1% lower compared with the previous quarter and 3.8% lower compared with the same period in 2010.
