Convey Law is based in Newport, South Wales and has grown to become one of the country’s leading conveyancers.
Lloyd Davies, managing director at Convey Law, said: “We are delighted to have joined the Conveyancing Association.
“The work that they have undertaken on behalf of the conveyancing industry in recent years has been commendable.
“We look forward to working with the Conveyancing Association, to help them to build on recent success and tackle the challenges facing the conveyancing industry”.
The Association is a non-profit organisation that counts many of the nation’s leading conveyancing companies amongst its members.
The Conveyancing Association was established in the context of a number of challenges facing the Conveyancing Sector in the UK.
These challenges include many lenders reducing the number of companies on their panels and the Legal Services Act of 2011, which allowed additional non legal businesses to move into and impact the Conveyancing industry.
A steady stream of new regulatory and legislative requirements is making compliance an ever more challenging prospect for conveyancing practices.
The Conveyancing Association represents members at decision making forums to ensure that further regulation is not imposed without direct input from the country’s top conveyancers.
