The new portal is the first phase in a series of enhancements and changes to be rolled out since the recent rebranding. The upgraded portal delivers a much simpler, easy to use quotation system delivering complete transparency and certainty. There are further efficiencies for broker users including ongoing access to Conveyancing Alliance’s panel of solicitors and the new pricing structure introduced last year. By using the new portal brokers can:
• Choose one of the legal firms available from a national panel.
• Access the new fixed common pricing structure available to every user ensuring the client knows the exact amount they will be paying for conveyancing.
• Benefit from strict service standards that all panel firms adhere to.
• Select their own referral fee on a case by case basis. This can be anything up to £400.
• Produce a personalised quotation for the client in less than a minute.
• Instruct online ensuring the case is automatically delivered to the legal firm’s system allowing them to be worked on within minutes.
The increased level of integration between the portal and all panel solicitors’ systems ensures there is no need for dual inputting on the broker’s part. Conveyancing Alliance also provides real-time case tracking allowing the broker to check on the status of all their cases at any time. Integration even extends to the referral fee payments which are automatically paid to the broker.
Harpal Singh, Managing Director of Conveyancing Alliance Ltd, commented: “Our new portal pushes our technology forward once again and greatly increases our service offering to brokers. We have designed the changes to our portal to benefit brokers both in terms of the potential to gain increased income, the opportunity to save time instructing solicitors and the benefits to be gained through real-time case tracking. Those brokers who use Conveyancing Alliance now have total certainty from both the high standards we request of our solicitor firms and the fixed pricing structure we are now able to offer all users. The new portal is just the start of a number of new enhancements to our overall proposition in 2009. We believe brokers and their clients should get the most out of their conveyancing experience which is why we are urging them to try the new system to see the changes that have been made, the opportunities available and the benefits we provide.”
