The programme, which is the third of its kind, will support 36 candidates towards RICS Associate membership in 2016 which is seen as the first step in career development as trainee surveyors.
The latest programme has been made available to existing employees and the wider industry – with recruits likely to come from estate and lettings agents.
Paul Wareham, managing director of Countrywide Surveying Services, said: “We are pleased to be at the forefront of developments in major trainee surveyor schemes.
“With our previous Fast Track candidates from programmes launched in 2013 and 2014 now RICS qualified and gaining ever greater standing within their professional communities, our Class of 2015 have much to aspire to and some exceptional young surveyors to work alongside.”
Working in conjunction with The College of Estate Management, part of Reading University, the scheme offers surveying diploma and more recently foundation degree qualifications to selected candidates as an early stage pathway towards RICS Associate Membership.
A total of 15 diploma students are now working alongside experienced surveyor mentors in London, the South East and in a number of cities in the North and the Midlands, and will submit for the AssocRICS qualification in October 2015, building future capacity into the surveyor network from December 2015.
The grassroots scheme has been repeated in 2015 with 20 more colleagues beginning their foundation degree studies with The College of Estate Management this month.
