They will join the surveyor's senior management line-up
Countrywide Surveying Services, a supplier of valuation panel management services, has announced two key promotions to its senior management team.
Kharla Mullen will now assume the role of chief operating officer and John McCurry will hold the position of director of products and innovation.
Mullen has been with Countrywide for 24 years and throughout this time has held a number of key senior roles within conveyancing, account management, asset management and for the last 10 years within surveying.
In her new role, she will assume a range of responsibilities, including driving the business forward through service excellence, strengthening key relationships and supporting the development of the business by identifying growth opportunities. She has also been appointed deputy chair of the ESG steering group for the wider Connells Group.
Meanwhile, McCurry joined Countrywide in 2003 on a graduate training program after starting his career in estate agency. He qualified as a residential surveyor in 2005 working in the East Midlands and Yorkshire and has since held a variety of senior management roles within the surveying business, leading the development of the HomeFact, EnergyFact and PropertyFact products.
In his new role, McCurry will create and oversee a long-term innovation strategy for Countrywide including the design, development, and implementation of unique products both externally and internally.
“These represent two significant promotions which will further strengthen our business and also serve to demonstrate the depth of our talent pool and the progression path within the business,” Matthew Cumber, managing director at Countrywide Surveying Services, said. “We also remain keen on encouraging and nurturing new talent from outside the business, meaning we will continue on our extensive recruitment drive, investing in our academy and strengthening our training and development programmes.”
