Countrywide Surveying Services recertifies ISO27001 accreditation

Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS), a supplier of valuation panel management services, has been recertified to a higher standard of ISO27001 accreditation following a six-day surveillance audit that found zero minor or major non-conformities.

The International Organization for Standardisation (ISO) sets global standards for various disciplines. The ISO27001 standard serves as a framework for an organisation’s information security management system (ISMS), encompassing all policies and processes related to data control and usage. It operates as a compliance checklist rather than mandating specific tools or methods.

CSS was the first surveying business in the industry to acquire this accreditation in 2012 and has maintained it since.

“As a business, we are very proud to have been ISO9001 Quality Management and ISO27001 Information Security accredited for many, many years now, and these certifications play a hugely significant role in why we are such a trusted partner for so many lenders, other clients and consumers across the mortgage market,” said Kharla Mullen (pictured), chief operating officer at Countrywide Surveying Services.

“Reaching these higher ISO27001 standards is testament to how hard the team works behind the scenes to ensure we consistently go above and beyond when it comes to managing our data requirements in the most secure, efficient and effective manner possible. All while maintaining the highest service standards, and long will these efforts continue.”
