The residential range includes a ten-year fixed offset mortgage with early repayment charges (ERCs) limited to the first five years and the option of paying 10 per cent per annum without a penalty.

Also in the range is a collection of flexible fixed mortgages, all at 95 per cent loan-to-value (LTV) with a free valuation and free legals for remortgages. The five-year deal starts at 6.29 per cent and features no fees or ERCs. There is also a two-year deal at 5.45 per cent and a three-year package at 5.55 per cent.
A 100 per cent first-time buyer mortgage is fixed at 6.25 per cent for three years with a £400 arrangement fee and 4 per cent ERC.

Colin Franklin, head of sales at Coventry, said: “With a strong possibility of a rate rise next week, and at a time when other lenders are withdrawing fixed rate products, we are offering the opportunity for borrowers to benefit from certainty of payments.”
Michael Brill, director at Baronworth Investment Services, said: “The fact that there are no fees makes it very competitive and it is certainly something we will look into. The remortgages are very competitive as it is very rare for anyone to offer up to 95 per cent LTV, but the fact that there are no fees is excellent.”
