Coventry trims fixed rates

Taking affect from 16 August, it hasl cut the rates on its fixed offset and residential mortgages:-

• Two-year flexx fixed – down from 6.25 per cent to 6.09 per cent, with no early repayment charges (ERCs)
• Three-year fixed – down from 6.09 per cent to 5.99 per cent
• Ten-year fixed offset - down from 6.09 per cent to 5.99 per cent (ERCs for first five years only)

A 6.19 per cent five-year fixed with no ERCs will also be introduced on the same day.
