Finlay assumed interim responsibility for Barclay’s direct bank mortgage business last month following the departure of the bank’s managing director for regulated customer advice, Philip Northey.
For now Finlay’s job title will remain unchanged as he runs the bank’s branch and call centres alongside his current responsibilities.
The bank is currently seeking a permanent replacement for Northey.
