The changes will greatly improve the online proposition with particular emphasis on both the broker and packager, strengthening the service proposition to allow instant online KFIs, DIPs, online application submission and case tracking. There are a number of features that set this proposition aside from others in the market.
One of the most important features is the ‘Assign to Packager’ tool, which allows brokers to obtain an Online DIP on a specific case and assign that case to a packager for further processing - whether that be at decision in principle, or application stage.
The application will appear in the packager’s case tracking and the packager will also receive an email telling them the case has been transferred. Once the case has been transferred db mortgages corresponds with the packager who can then submit the application online.
Mark Bergin, Director of Sales and Marketing at db mortgages, said: ”The ‘Assign to Packager’ tool is unique to db mortgages and further reinforces the importance of the packager market in our distribution strategy.”
He continued: “Online technology and systems have increased in popularity in recent years and we have put a considerable amount of time and resource into developing these features, demonstrating our commitment to the packager community.”
