In particular, applicants for the training courses are anxious to be ready for the expected move towards totally fee-based remuneration for mortgage advice.
The half day courses on using Home Buyer’s HBSLite system have been designed to enable brokers to trade successfully in the post credit crunch marketplace by understanding how to sell mortgages successfully from the whole of the market, rather than just offering customers the restricted choice now available solely through broker distribution.
Richard Angliss, managing director of Home Buyer Systems, commented: “Mortgage advisers with a good business sense are not waiting for the FSA to make up its mind about fees-only advice. Instead, they are keen to equip themselves with a robust system and the know-how to switch to fees-based remuneration. We are confident that our HBSLite training sessions will help all attendees to start earning fee income straight away, and be in a position to switch to fees-only remuneration should proc fees disappear altogether.”
