The life insurance provider has already taken on 10 apprentices, with eight still being employed by them.
Lottie Jefferies and Becky Macey are life insurance administrators, former apprentice Jack Stannard is now senior administrator and Luke Hill has joined the finance team as a finance assistant.
Rob Quayle, managing director of Direct Life, said: “We are currently looking to take on three new apprentices from the local area.
“Ideally, they will be bright, enthusiastic and happy individuals who are willing to go the extra mile.
“In return, we give excellent training in a fully supportive and friendly environment, and at the end of the apprenticeship, a job offer if there are vacancies. We believe in looking after our staff, and offering young people an opportunity to excel and a focus is extremely important.”
Apprentices can complete a Customer Service NVQ Level 2 while at the end of the year they can apply for a permanent role.
The firm currently employs over 130 staff and has recently taken on 35 full-time and part-time staff in their administration, express underwriting and IT development team.
