As L&G ARs, dot financial services said it recognised the need for greater support and a fresh approach within the mortgage and protection adviser arena.
Peter Ford, professional services director for dot financial services, said: “We are excited about building staff numbers through the L&G programme. The current recruits, who are educated to graduate level and one of whom also has agency experience, are doing exceptionally well. As a result we plan to send a further three or four recruits on the next programme starting in September.”
L&G’s school leads to an industry recognised professional qualification, comprises an intensive skills development programme followed by CF1 and CF6 exams, giving the adviser a structured path to successful graduation.
Ford concluded: “This new approach to both recruiting and training advisers through a comprehensive programme of support will not only benefit the industry in producing highly skilled individuals with firsthand experience but also stands to benefit our customers.”
