Carling was one of the lender’s first employees initially starting in broker liaison before moving across to a credit support and servicing role, providing assistance to Matt Smith, head of credit and servicing at Dragonfly.
Carling will continue to do this but in an official and more senior capacity.
Jonathan Samuels, chief executive officer at Dragonfly, said: “Lee has come on in leaps and bounds since he started and his promotion reflects all the hard work he has done in helping to establish and grow Dragonfly Property Finance.
“At Dragonfly, we place a massive emphasis on service levels and Lee has excelled in that area, so it was only right to recognize what he brings to the team.”
