He will lead its business development, intermediary support, and underwriting team
Dudley Building Society has announced the appointment of Robert Oliver, who is joining the mutual as its new distribution director.
Oliver, who has 30 years of experience in financial services, will lead Dudley Building Society’s business development, intermediary support, and underwriting team.
He joins Dudley from Castle Trust Bank, where he was sales director responsible for increasing the distribution footprint, employing a new sales force, and enhancing the intermediary proposition. He previously worked for Together Money, Capital Home Loans, and Virgin Money.
“I’m delighted to welcome Rob to our team,” said James Paterson, chief executive at Dudley Building Society. “His knowledge, experience, and team leadership will be vital as we continue to deliver our specialist mortgage approach, which makes a real difference to our members’ lives.”
Commenting on his appointment, Oliver (pictured) said he is thrilled to be joining Dudley Building Society at an “exciting time.”
“I’m looking forward to working with the great team of people there, focussing on putting members at the heart of everything we do, and putting Dudley at the heart of the local community,” he said.
