The system is designed to speed up the process of housing chains by actively managing and pursuing information required for the purchase or sale of each individual property.
To drive each transaction forward, this service will also allow estate agents to pinpoint a particular property that is causing a delay and actively work to solve the problem, resulting in a faster sale.
Once the free six month trial ends, agents who have participated in this pilot will be able to access the service at a discounted rate of £50 per month per office (full cost £100).
Karen Babington, sales and marketing director at Easier2move commented: “We understand that minor delays in a housing chain can lead to severe frustration and, in some cases, sales falling through. Therefore, we have decided to pilot this innovative information management system, which will proactively push sales forward and enable agents to identify potential problems. We believe this product will greatly enhance the speed of each transaction and help to reduce the stress for all those concerned in the process.”
James Cotton, mortgage specialist at London & Country, said: “For mortgage brokers, our main role is to get customers the best deal. However, often a lot of problems can arise for the customer after that when it comes to exchanging and completion. Looking at the mortgage chain may be good for giving an early warning that an offer may fall through, but it won’t get rid of mortgages falling through altogether. You’re always going to get people changing their minds, finding another house they prefer or being gazumped.”
