Cooperation between Easy Convey and Xit2 will deliver sales leads, simplify procedures, and automate key processes for legal professionals
xit2 - which was acquired earlier this year by MDA, a leading figure in property information solutions - provides an effective way for mortgage brokers to manage their outsourced, non-core processes. By acting as a powerful information hub, it plays a vital role in completing the electronic chain between client, mortgage broker, and introducers like CAL, before ultimately providing this information to the conveyancing law firm via Easy Convey's Conveyancing Administration Software Application (CASA).
"By partnering with xit2, we can bridge the last remaining gap in the e-conveyancing process, so that information from introducers such as CAL can now be fed automatically into CASA's case management system," says Dominic Cullis, Managing Director, Easy Convey Ltd. "As a result, the entire conveyancing process will reach a new standard in terms of speed, efficiency, and accuracy."
New instructions are sent from the mortgage broker, via the introducer, to the xit2 hub, which in turn creates and pre-populates a new CASA case file for the law firm. At this stage, the conveyancer can use CASA to generate letters and to complete forms and other documents via automated workflows.
The status of a matter can be checked by the mortgage broker or law firm at any time - and from any location - via the Internet. Also, as the status of the conveyance changes on the law firm's case management system, Easy Convey will advise its client of the change by email, SMS, or via its website. All relevant data is distributed in real time, so that all of the parties involved in the process have access to the same synchronised information.
"We are delighted to be working with Easy Convey, since our two companies complement each other perfectly," says Paul Duckworth, ceo of xit2. "By working together, we can ensure that the e-conveyancing market continue to progress as it should, with the mortgage brokers and introducers communicating directly with the law firms providing the conveyancing work."
Davisons Solicitors, based in Birmingham, is one of the first firms to benefit from the new relationship.
"By creating this electronic link between the client, the mortgage broker, and our firm, we are moving quickly towards the next generation of electronic conveyancing," says Mike Mitchell, Head of Operations, Davisons Solicitors. "Already, we can see how this technology will translate into a reduced workload, greater efficiency, and faster processing times."
