The game, called Match Predictor, is available to any broker who instructs a solicitor online using eConveyancer. As soon as a case has been instructed, the broker is automatically invited to play the game, which involves predicting the scores of forthcoming Premiership football matches. If brokers get two match predictions correct, they win £25, rising to £5,000 if they get 10 match predictions correct.
Winners are paid immediately and eConveyancer will also be sending a bottle of bubbly to the ‘Player of the Month’ – the person who has successfully predicted the most correct scores each month. If brokers want to pit their wits against other participants, they can also create their own player leagues online.
Alan Dring, sales director for eConveyancer, said: “This is a game of two halves: the first half simply involves instructing a solicitor via the eConveyancer system. The second half is the fun bit: playing the Match Predictor game. Both halves together will take brokers about 90 seconds, rather than 90 minutes.
“Our objective behind the creation of this game is to remind brokers that they can significantly enhance their incomes by using eConveyancer to instruct solicitors. Using eConveyancer takes about the same time as it does to set-up and take a penalty – and brokers can earn up to £200 for each completed case. The Match Predictor game gives every broker a chance to enhance their earnings still further, whilst also having a bit of fun. You don’t need to be a football fan or knowledgeable about the game to be able to play. It will appeal to everyone.”
