The 'significant strategic partnership' has seen Grant Thornton place an in-house IVA practitioner at Enterprise's head office to assist those clients introduced by brokers where no first or second charge solution is available.
The new facility will see Grant Thornton provide a solution-based service for clients who fail to qualify for either remortgage funding or a secured loan through Enterprise’s unique ‘safe sub-prime advice cycle’.
Norman Smith, sales director of EDS said: "We are excited about the opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading insolvency practitioners in this fast-growing area of specialist advice’
Gareth Neill, partner at Grant Thornton UK LLP, added: "We are very pleased about this new partnership - Enterprise is well recognised within the specialist mortgage and loans sector, and this evolution of their model makes perfect sense.
"It is important that clients with debt problems are given all available options rather than being turned away if a mortgage or loan is not available, and now Enterprise’s introducers have a better-rounded proposition for those clients in financial difficulty.’
