The voting was as follows:
Stuart Bernau, 713,912 votes; Jonathan Agnew, 712,862 votes; Philip Williamson, 709,822 votes; Brian Walsh, 694,778 votes; John Engestrom, 689,576 votes; and Robert Walther, 678,085 votes. These were all elected.
Those not elected were Alan Debenham with 293,410 votes and Tim Tanner with 273,847 votes.
Commenting on the result, Jonathan Agnew, chairman of Nationwide, said: "I am delighted that our members have elected the candidates recommended by the Board. We believe that they have the skills and experience to continue to give direction to Nationwide’s successful strategy."
