The northwest office will form the first phase of a national expansion strategy for the independent packager, which was established by Gary Miller-Cheevers in 2001 as the Forward Mortgage Company. Since its inception the business has enjoyed sustained growth and merged with its secured loans, sister company earlier this year to create the Elephant Loans brand.
